Neste Prosjekt AS helps clients create structure, progress and oversight in projects with many disciplines, suppliers and decisions.
Projects We Can Contribute To
We have a particular focus on agriculture, agricultural buildings and technical investments, but our expertise can also be applied to other construction and technical projects that need project development, project management, coordination and financial control.
Relevant projects include, among others:
- new barns and other agricultural buildings
- conversion and extension of existing farm buildings
- biogas plants and other energy and environmental investments
- larger technical installations and upgrades
- refurbishment and conversion
- industrial and production buildings

The need varies from project to project. We can step into individual phases or follow a project over a longer period.

The role and scope are always tailored to the project, the customer's needs and the responsibilities already held by other advisers, contractors and suppliers.
Project Development and the Early Phase
We have experience helping customers early in the process – before the project is locked into a particular solution.
Typical tasks in the early phase include:
- clarifying needs with the customer
- investigating alternative technical solutions
- involving and evaluating suppliers
- coordinating with design and engineering
- assessing investment and cost/benefit
- developing the solution before the project is locked in
This work does not require us to hold formal responsibility as the final designer. We can identify the need for specialists, bring in the right people and coordinate the work on the customer's behalf.
Systems Implementation, Quality and Risk Management
We also have experience with project-based work related to developing and implementing management systems in businesses.
This includes work on:
- quality management systems
- anti-money-laundering systems and procedures
- business-wide risk assessments
- implementation across companies and organisations
- involvement of employees, management and the board
- planning, delivery and follow-up of new systems and work processes
Such projects call for much of the same core expertise as other projects: clear objectives, involvement of the right people, structured delivery, documentation and follow-up over time. This experience strengthens Neste Prosjekt AS's ability to contribute also to projects concerned with organisation, quality, risk management and the development of internal systems – not only physical construction projects.
Experience We Bring With Us
Behind Neste Prosjekt AS lies experience from projects of very different scales – from our own agricultural buildings to complex construction and technical projects worth hundreds of millions of kroner.
Agricultural Buildings – From the Client's Side
We also know agricultural buildings from the client's seat.
In the conversion and extension of a suckler cow barn, the project was followed from planning through to a completed building, with responsibility for technical solutions, finances, progress, suppliers and follow-up with the bank and Innovation Norway, among other things. Large parts of the construction and installation work were also carried out as own labour.
This experience is being carried forward into a new fattening pig project of around 1,000 m² with an investment framework of around NOK 15 million. Here, the client role includes design and technical clarifications, contracts, finances, progress, supplier follow-up, financing and coordination between the various parties in the project.
This gives a practical understanding of what it actually means to be a farmer and a client at the same time.
New Førde Hospital – The Liva Building
Experience as project manager on the contractor side during construction of the Liva Building at the New Førde Hospital.
The project had a value of over NOK 500 million and was delivered as a design-and-build contract. The role covered overall project responsibility on the contractor side, with coordination and follow-up of the various disciplines involved in the delivery.
The experience covers progress, finances, contractor and supplier follow-up, technical clarifications and coordination in a large and complex construction project.
Bulandet Miljøfisk
Experience from the client side of a land-based aquaculture project with an investment framework of over NOK 100 million.
The work included contract follow-up, assistant site management and follow-up of systematic completion.
The role provided experience representing and supporting the client in a technically demanding project with many deliveries, interfaces and stakeholders.
Jølstra Power Plant
Experience as assistant site manager on the client side during construction of Jølstra power plant, a project in the hundreds-of-millions-of-kroner range.
The work included systematic completion and system commissioning, in addition to general support to site management.
The project provided valuable experience with structured completion, technical interfaces, documentation and coordination in a large technical facility.
Major Technical Projects and Shipbuilding
Through several roles in shipbuilding, there is also extensive experience from large and complex technical projects, often worth several hundred million kroner.
Roles have included project manager, technical project manager and project engineer for piping and machinery systems.
The experience covers project delivery, finances, progress, technical coordination, supplier follow-up, contracts, changes, classification and regulatory requirements, and completion.
This experience is directly transferable to construction projects where many technical disciplines, suppliers and commercial interfaces must work together.
Experience from Major Projects – an Eye for the Small Details
Projects can be very different, but much of good project delivery comes down to the same things: clear responsibilities, sound clarifications, control of finances, realistic progress and systematic follow-up of what has been agreed.
Neste Prosjekt AS brings experience from large and complex projects into agriculture – while still understanding the practical, everyday economics of the farmer.
The aim is not to make the project more complicated. The aim is to make it easier to stay in control.
